A New Look at the Institutional Component of Higher Education Finance: A Guide for Evaluating Performance Relative to Financial Resources
This study examines how cost-effective the 50 states are in educating college students. It considers total funding per student—including state funds and tuition dollars—and performance factors such as the number of degrees awarded, graduation rates and success in getting research grants. -
